If You Burn Wood, Attend This Session!

WAKEFIELD, MI - Monday, August 30, 2010 - The Wakefield Fire Department along with the Gogebic County Firefighters Training Association is hosting a Chimney Fire Suppression Training session on Wednesday, September 8th, at 6:00 PM, at the Wakefield Fire Hall on Sunday Lake Street.

This is excellent class for not only putting out chimney fires but also the proper techniques to keep your wood fire and chimneys clean and safe from creosote. An expert in wood burning equipment and chimney fire suppression; Fred Chamberlain, will be the guest instructor.

The session will last approximately three hours and firefighters and homeowners alike will definitely benefit from this informational training.
