Grand View Health System Welcomes James Potter, PA-C Home from Iraq

IRONWOOD, MI - Monday, August 23, 2010 - The local community will soon see a familiar face when they come to the Grand View Ironwood Clinic. Beginning mid-October, James Potter, PA-C will begin seeing patients again after being deployed to Iraq for a second tour. In total, Mr. Potter has been deployed three times, with one tour being served stateside.

Most recently, Mr. Potter has been known as Major Potter, with the United States Army Reserves, where he has served as the Senior Medical Advisor to the Iraqi Army for medical training. He returned home from deployment on on Saturday, July 31, 2010 after being oversea’s since October 2009.

For patients looking to continue care with Mr. Potter, he will be available to provide care at the Grand View Ironwood Clinic Monday through Friday. Mr. Potter will also be accepting new patients. Mr. Potter would like to thank the community for all of the support that has been provided to both he and his family during his time in Iraq. He would also like to provide care for people in the community who are in need of Family Medicine provider. Mr. Potter welcomes his patient’s back into his care and he looks forward to taking care of them.
