5th Grade Bulldogs Defeat Phillips Loggers In Season Opener

PHILLIPS, WI - Saturday, August 28, 2010 - The Gogebic-Iron Range Pop Warner Football team opened its season Saturday, August 28th in Phillips, WI against the Phillips Loggers. The 5th grade Bulldogs team beat the Loggers with a score of 24-6. Scoring for the Bulldogs were Scott Subert, Hurley, Matthew Clemens Ironwood, Bailey Ribich, Wakefield and Isaac DeCarlo, Hurley. The Bulldogs offensive and defensive lines held strong throughout the day allowing the scoring opportunities we were given. The 5th grade Bulldogs return play on Saturday, September 11th in Park Falls, Wisconsin.
