Rain, Rain Go Away!
IRONWOOD, MI - Tuesday, August 17, 2010 - Recent rainfalls in the area have done some significant wash-out damage to local roads and streets. Heavy rains have also delayed several area construction projects. Beginning tomorrow, and through the Friday night, more rain is predicted. We can look forward to a very nice weekend, however. The forecast through Monday is as follows: Today - Mostly sunny. Highs around 72. West winds 10 to 20 mph. Tonight - Partly cloudy. Lows 53 to 58 inland to around 62 at the shore. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph...except southwest 10 to 20 mph near the shore. Wednesday - Mostly cloudy with a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs around 75. Southwest winds 5 to 15 mph. Wednesday Night - Showers and thunderstorms likely. Lows around 58. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 60 percent. Thursday - A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms in the morning. Partly cloudy. Highs around 73. Light winds. Thursday Night - Partly cloudy. Lows around 54 inland to around 60 at the shore. Friday - Mostly cloudy with a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs around 74.
