O'Reilly Auto Parts Store Robbed at Gunpoint: Suspect Still At Large

IRONWOOD, MI - Monday, December 27, 2010 - The Ironwood Public Safety Department and the Gogebic County Sheriff’s Department are investigating an armed robbery in the City of Ironwood. At approximately 5:30 p.m., officers responded to an alarm and 9-1-1 call at the O’Reilly’s Auto Parts Store on Cloverland Drive.

The suspect is described as a black male, early 20’s, approximately 6’2”, thin build wearing dark clothing and a cover on his face. The suspect held employees at gun point and then left store on foot with an undetermined amount of money.

All available law enforcement units in Gogebic County and Iron County, Wisconsin, are continuing the investigation and search for the suspect.
