Range Flour & Feed Burglary Suspects In Custody

IRONWOOD, MI - Tuesday, January 26, 2010 - Ironwood Public Safety has arrested an 18-year-old male and a 20-year-old male for Burglary with intent. Both subjects were lodged in the Gogebic County Jail. Bond has been set a $100,000 each.

At approximately 11:40 PM on Monday, January 25, 2010, Ironwood Public Safety Officers Chiapuzio and Colassaco found a break-in had occurred at Range Flour and Feed store on Douglas Boulevard. Officers secured the outside of the building and then were able to locate two suspects inside the business. After being interviewed by the Department Detective and searches of their vehicle and residences, stolen property was recovered which linked the suspects to numerous other car burglaries and business break-ins in the area. The investigation is continuing with additional charges expected.
