Come Snowshoeing at the Cemetery Trail System's Grand Opening

IRONWOOD, MI - Thursday, January 14, 2010 - On January 31st at 1:00 PM will be the grand opening of the Cemetery Trail System and will run until 4:00 PM. It will start at the Michigan Information Center on Highway US-2 west end of town. It is open to anyone that would like to try snowshoeing. Snowshoes will be provided by Gogebic County 4H in both adult and children's sizes.  Hot chocolate, cider and doughnuts, donated by Hobby Wheel and Day Dream Doughnuts, will be available after your hike, in the Information Center.

The total trail length is 1.2 miles with a shorter loop of  a half mile. This is open to anyone that would like to give snowshoeing a try or bring your snowshoes and take part in the Grand Opening. This trail is provided by Parks and Recreation Committee of Ironwood. If you have question call 932-2020.
