Work Bee to Spruce Up Depot to Be Held Tuesday Evening

IRONWOOD, MI - Monday, July 5, 2010 - An "Ironwood Downtown Beautification" work bee will be held on Tuesday, July 6, beginning at 5:00 PM, meeting at the Downtown Depot Park.

The focus of this work bee will be to spruce up our Downtown Depot Park in preparation for next week's Festival Ironwood. (If enough volunteers are available, we will also weed some downtown public gardens that need attention.)

Clean up efforts will include sweeping, trimming, raking, shoveling, weeding/planting gardens. We will also wash the outside windows of the Depot.

Everyone's welcome! Depending on how you'd like to help, recommended work items to bring include work gloves, push brooms, hand trowels/gardening tools, clippers, steel rakes, shovels, wheelbarrow, squeegee, bucket, rags, ....
