Renowned Anthropologist to Discuss Her Latest Book at GCC

IRONWOOD TOWNSHIP, MI - Tuesday, July 13, 2010 - Author Jessica Cattelino, Associate Professor of Anthropology, ULCA, will be holding a Book Talk at the Gogebic Community College, E4946 Jackson Road, Ironwood, Michigan, Room A-211, Erickson Academic Center, on Wednesday, July 28th, at 2:00 PM.

In her talk, Jessica will discuss her prize-winning book High Stakes: Florida Seminole Gaming and Sovereignty, which was recently awared the 2008-2009 Delmos Jones and Jagna Scharff memorial prize for Critical Study of North America. She will also relate her path from being a farm girl to Northern Wisconsin to her present position.
