Manager Review One of Many Agenda Items Before Commission Monday

IRONWOOD, MI - Tuesday, June 22, 2010 - The Ironwood City Commission will be meeting on Monday, June 28, 2010 beginning at 5:10 PM, to hold two Public Hearings and their Regular Meeting. The meetings will be held in the Commission Chambers on the second floor of the Ironwood Memorial Building in Downtown Ironwood.

The Agendas for the Public Hearings and the Regular Meeting are as follows:

5:10 P.M. 1. Open Public Hearing. 2. Public Hearing: To hear comment on Ordinance No. 479, Book 4 an Ordinance to amend the “Code of Ordinances, City of Ironwood, Michigan, Chapter 9 Cemeteries, Section 9-8 (Entiled “Disposition of funds”) and add Section 9-9 (Entitled “ Perpetual Care “Grant Match” Loan Fund”), to allow a portion of perpetual care funds to be used as a source for internal loans for matching grant funds within the City. 3. Close Public Hearing.

5:20 P.M. 1. Open Public Hearing. 2. Public Hearing: To hear comment on Ordinance No. 480, Book 4 an Ordinance to amend the “Code of Ordinances, City of Ironwood, Michigan, Chapter 17 Nuisances, Article I in General, by adding Section 17.4 “Collection”. 3. Close Public Hearing.
