Illegal Dumping Continues to Be a Problem

McDONALD'S DAM - Wednesday, May 5, 2010 - It's amazing! Paradise is in our back yard, and some people just don't appreciate it. What is it going to take to get this senseless illegal dumping to stop? Recent clean-up efforts by the Gogebic Range Trail Authority (GRTA), the Friends of the Miners' Memorial Heritage Park (FMMHP) and local volunteers is a step in the right direction. Their efforts have made a significant difference in the caves area. However, until people quit dumping, their efforts will be for nothing.
