IRONWOOD, MI - Wednesday, November 10, 2010 - Ironwood Area Schools “The Wright Way” is announcing their adopt a classroom project. At the start of the school year teachers were given a survey to complete with their wish list. Some suggestions from the teachers were visiting the class and reading to the students, helping with field trips, donating art supplies, attend their programs, provide tutoring as needed, doing demonstrations that would relate to your business or hobby. One that was mentioned more than once was provide cold weather clothing in case of emergency - hats and mittens. As part of the Wright Way initiative the “adopt a classroom” project is an important part of the process to get the community involved with the schools and their students. Any class Pre K-12 can be adopted by any individual, area business or organization. If anyone has any questions or would like to adopt a classroom please contact Lee-Ann Garske (program chair) at lgarske@coleman-engineering.com  or at 932-5048 or Dennis Woodward at Ironwood Area School.
