Cancer Support Group Meets November 16

IRONWOOD, MI - Wednesday, November 10, 2010 - Join Aspirus Grand View’s ‘All Cancer Support Group’ open to cancer patients, cancer survivors, and caregivers. Anyone coping with cancer either personally or as a caregiver are invited to attend this support group. It will provide a comfortable setting to allow open discussion and sharing of experiences.  Meeting and talking with others who have survived cancer can serve as a beacon of hope to those who are going through their own battle with cancer.

This group meets the third Tuesday of every month.  The next meeting will be held on Tuesday November 16 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Aspirus Grand View Conference Room B. Deb Weber, a Licensed Professional Counselor with MMC Behavioral Health Services will be presenting techniques on how to deal with challenges each individual faces on their cancer journey and how to specifically cope with those issues, managing the emotional roller coaster, feelings of guilt, anger and how to overcome them.
