Kaufman Sheet Metal Works Building Gets Face Lift

IRONWOOD, MI - Wednesday, November 10, 2010 - The Kaufman Sheet Metal Works building located at 400 West Aurora Street in Downtown Ironwood, has recently received some front facade improvements. Half-log siding has been added along with new doors and redressed windows. The business was founded in 1949 by the late Roy Kaufman, and they are famous for their snow rakes and their snow scoops.

In 2007 the business was sold to Otto Gebhardt. Kaufmans manufactures and sells between 500 and 1000 scoops per year. They are shipped nationwide. For more information go to www.scoopsandrakes.com.
