City to Hold Aurora Utility Project Public Info Meeting Oct. 28th

IRONWOOD,MI - Tuesday, October 26, 2010 - The City of Ironwood will be conducting a Public Informational Meeting for the Aurora Utility Project on Thursday, October 28, 2010. This meeting will be held at 5:00 P.M. in the City Commission Chambers located on the second floor of the Memorial Building, 213 S. Marquette Street, Ironwood, MI 49938. Representatives of the Engineer and Contractor will also be present.

Discussion at this meeting will include the winter shutdown of the project as well as the remaining spring work. The project limits included the streets currently impacted as well as Smith Street from Turner Street to Clemens Street, Clemens Street from the 90 degree corner by the Public Works garage to Southwest Street, Southwest Street from Clemens Street to 150’ North of Bonnie Street and Bonnie Street from Southwest Street to 300 feet west of Southwest Street.
