Gogebic Community College Foundation to Hold 15th Annual Recognition Banquet

IRONWOOD TOWNSHIP, MI - Tuesday, October 12, 2010 - The Gogebic Community College Foundation will host the 15th annual “Celebration of Achievements” Banquet on Thursday, October 21, 2010 in the David G. Lindquist Student Center. A reception will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 PM in the student lounge of the Lindquist Center with dinner to be served at 6:30 PM in the cafeteria. A program will follow. The public is invited to attend.

Each year, the GCC Foundation Board of Directors chooses several individuals to honor who have exemplified their commitment to the College. This year’s honorees include US Coast Guard Rear Admiral Steven E. Day, Distinguished Alumnus Class of 1973; Jeannie Milakovich, Distinguished College Faculty Member; and Dennis “Deke” Routheaux, Outstanding Coach.
