Kruisers & KC's to Hold Joint Fall Harvest Fundraiser

HURLEY, WI - Saturday, October 26, 2010 - The Klassic Kruisers Car Club and the Ironwood Knights of Columbus are teaming up again to sponsor a joint fundraising activity on Saturday, October 23, ar the Knights of Columbus Hall on Scott Street in Ironwood.

This new event is the Fall Harvest Pasta Dinner and Barn Dance. The Pasta Dinner will run from 3 pm to 7 pm and will feature spaghetti and meatballs, cheese ravioli in either garlic butter or red sauce, tossed salad, Italian bread, dessert and beverage. The cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children ages 3-12. Under 3 are free.

The Barn Dance will run from 8 pm to midnight and will feature “Strange Cru” out of Ashland, WI for the live music of the 50’s & 60’s, country, and newer oldies – something for everyone. Admission to the Barn Dance is $5. There is also a combination ticket for adults that includes both the Pasta Dinner and Barn Dance for $12. Save a buck! So you can attend either the Pasta Dinner OR the Barn Dance OR both!

Also included in the day’s activities are a bake sale, 50/50 raffle, karaoke during the band breaks, and a silent raffle table. The KC’s will be offering a cash bar.

Proceeds from this event will be split between the Kruisers and the KC’s and will go to further each group’s community support activities. The Kruisers are using this event as the kick-off fund raiser for their 20th anniversary celebration activities planned for 2011.
