Volunteers Rough Cut New Trail at the MI Information Center
IRONWOOD, MI - Friday, September 24, 2010 - Over the past two weeks, volunters rough cut a new trail at the Michigan Information Center. Signs will be installed along the trail next week and more trimming and cleanup will take place to finish the job. The trail also serves as a dog walk. Anyone is welcome to use the new trail and users are encouraged to bring clippers or a small brush saw and help finish grooming. This new trail is roughly 3/4 mile long and is designed for walking, snowshoeing and dog walking. It is an extension of the previously established Cemetery trail.
