Better Weather Ahead for Construction & Viewing Fall Colors

IRONWOOD, MI - Sunday, September 26, 2010 - Recent wet weather has severely hampered construction efforts on the Phase I Water/Sewer Project. With the exception of a 20% chance of rain Monday night, milder, dryer weather is in the forecast.

For the most part,  perfect weather for viewing the fall colors is expected this week.

Early This Morning - Freeze warning in effect until 8:00 AM CDT this morning. Clear. Widespread frost. Light winds.

Today -  Sunny. Highs around 59. Light winds.

Monday - Mostly sunny. Highs around 65. Southwest winds 5 to 15 mph.

Monday Night - A 20 percent chance of showers. Partly cloudy in the evening then becoming mostly cloudy. Lows around 47. West winds 5 to 10 mph.

Tuesday - Partly cloudy. Highs around 57. North winds 5 to 10 mph.

Tuesday Night - Mostly clear. Lows 38 to 43.

Wednesday and Wednesday Night - Partly cloudy. Highs around 65. Lows around 47.

Thursday through Friday Night - Mostly clear. Highs around 61. Lows around 42.

Saturday - Partly cloudy. Highs around 53.
