Ice Trials at Dollar Lake in Eagle River March 5, 2011

EAGLE RIVER, WI - Sunday, February 20, 2011 - The Wisconsin Autosports Group (WAG) will host an automotive ice trials on the ice at Dollar Lake in Eagle River on March 5, 2011, on the ice of Dollar Lake near the Chanticleer Inn in Eagle River Wisconsin. The Ice Trials competition consists of cars competing against the clock on a Lemans style slalom course that is plowed on the ice. The course will be between 3/4 and 1 mile in length (depending on snow conditions). The object of the event is to complete the course in the fastest time.

The event is open to all competitors of legal driving age. A parent or guardian must however sign a waiver on behalf of any minors attending the event as competitors and spectators. The Ice trials events are designed for the everyday street cars and there are classes for any type of automobile and classes for unstudded and commercially studded tires. More than one driver may enter driving the same vehicle with a maximum of three drivers allowed per car.
