Weekly Sunday Snowshoeing in the Park Begins Today!

IRONWOOD, MI - Sunday, January 30, 2011 - The Friends of Miners Memorial Heritage Park will be hosting a weekly snowshoe in the Park each Sunday at 2 p.m. starting TODAY, January 30! Meet at the Ironwood School Bus Garage on Ayer Street. We will explore different areas of the Park. The length and difficulty level will depend on the group.

We will also be hosting a nighttime snowshoe in a few weeks. Details will be forthcoming.

If you have been out on the new City Ski Trail loop, you would have noticed that it needs a grooming. Don't worry, we have not forgotten it! Currently, we do not have access to a cross-country trail groomer. We apologize for this glitch in our plans. We are working to resolve this problem. Hopefully, the trails will be groomed soon!
