Marenisco Welcomes New Drafting & Design Business

MARENISCO, MI - Thursday, January 27, 2011 - Another new business has located to the business district of beautiful downtown Marenisco. Marenisco Drafting & Design (MDD) is a new company providing specialized computer aided drafting & design (CADD) services to residents of the western Upper Peninsula of Michigan, north central Wisconsin and beyond.

Marenisco Drafting & Design is a full service CADD firm owned and operated by Zachary J. Mahler, A.A.S. Mr. Mahler is a highly trained CADD operator with more than 8 years experience operating CADD systems such as AUTOCAD, AUTOCAD Architectural, Pro-E, SolidWorks, Spatial, Rhino Rendering, R2 Drafting Package and SolidCam. Mr. Mahler will provide fully engineered Architectural Building Plans for residential, as well as commercial customers, along with Floor Plans including Electrical/Mechanical, Elevation and Door and Window Schedules. He will also produce GIS System Drawings, Working Drawings, 3D Product Design, Tool & Die Design, Mechanical Drawings and Bill of Materials.

Mr. Mahler is a graduate of Gogebic Community College with an Associates of Applied Sciences (A.A.S.) Degree in CADD. In addition to his A.A.S., Mr. Mahler took three years of CADD while at West Iron County High School. Prior to opening Marenisco Drafting & Design, Mr. Mahler worked as a CADD GIS System Designer for CCI Systems of Iron Mountain, Michigan.

In addition, Marenisco Drafting & Design has entered into a partnership with Creative Design Resources, LLC (CDR) of Weston, Wisconsin. CDR is a registered dealer for the following cabinet companies – Crystal Cabinets, Wisconsin Bench, Sta-Care, Counterfoam, Crystal Finishing, Applied Laser, Schulte, CWWC and HDL. Marenisco Drafting & Design will have a small showroom for CDR products and will act as a retail sales agent for these products and will provide overflow services for CDR providing parts drawings, basic floor plans and setting up elevations for product applications.
