Delta Chamber Accepting Volunteer Applications for LPGA Futures Tour

HARRIS, MI - Sunday, January 23, 2011 – The Delta County Chamber of Commerce is now accepting volunteer applications for the upcoming LPGA Futures Tour taking place June 20-26, 2011, at the Island Resort & Casino’s premier golfing destination. The Tour showcases the world’s best young women golfers as they launch their future careers in the LPGA. Approximately 300 volunteers, golfers and non-golfers alike, are needed to fill a variety of positions. Volunteers will receive an LPGA Futures Tour uniform shirt and the opportunity to play the award-winning Sweetgrass course, at no charge, on June 27. If you love golf, helping your community, or just enjoy having an active role in a truly unique event, then act now to confirm your application as positions are sure to go quickly. Together we can make this event a remarkable experience for everyone involved, shine proudly as ambassadors of our area, and do our best in helping build the careers of the next LPGA greats.
