Fun Night for Gogebic Families

IRONWOOD, MI - Tuesday, March 8, 2011 - Parenting Awareness Month will be celebrated in Gogebic County with a Family Fun Night, scheduled for March 29 at the Ironwood Memorial Building.

This evening of free family activities will take place from 5 - 7 p.m. All Gogebic County families are invited to attend. Since this is a family activity, parents or grandparents should plan on having fun with their children. No pre-registration is necessary.

The focus this year is on developing a healthy family lifestyle. There will be over 20 interactive activities, including a tumbling corner and other opportunities for physical activity, quick crafts, talking about healthy bones and making 'astronaut pudding', hand and face painting, learning about science & technology, a book giveaway, and more.

There will be door prizes and light snacks.
