Spring Into Reading Mercer School

MERCER, WI - Friday, March 4, 2011 - Tacky the Penguin, a popular children's book written by Helen Lester, was performed as a readers theatre by the Mercer first graders on Thursday, March 3 to a full house of family and friends.

This was just one of the many fine performances given by the students at the school's annual "Spring into Reading" program. Spring into Reading was held this year in conjunction with Read Across America.
